2020意大利设计大师班由意大利对外贸易委员会、上海设计之都促进中心联合主办，在意中两国相关政府部门的支持下，吸引了众多意大利知名设计院校、品牌和设计师的参与。
IDM20 class is organized by Italian Trade Agency and Shanghai Promotion Center for City of Design. With the support from Italian and Chinese government, it attracts well-known Italian design universities, institutions, brands and designers to attend.

为应对今年的疫情，今年的IDM项目首次开启线上课程模式，将针对工业设计、时尚设计、室内设计这三个领域，由意大利知名设计教授为大家带来全面而生动的意大利设计解析，每一期课程包都将通过理论和实践相结合的方式，由专业教授针对课程主题，从不同角度解构意大利设计，在提升理论认知的基础上，穿插经典的设计案例，详细解读意大利设计的理念和解决方案。
Affected by the Covid-19, IDM will carry out online courses for the first time, focusing on three fields: industrial design, fashion design, and interior design. Each course of IDM20 perfectly combines theory and practice: In the first stage, the Italian professors deconstructed Italian design from a theoretical perspective, and then explained in detail the design concepts, schemes and use of materials through classic modern design cases. In the second stage, brand representatives brought practical cases from brand's well-known products and design concepts.
今年的IDM项目还有一项极具特色的内容，线上课程招募了首批超过30家意大利知名设计品牌的参与，他们是意大利设计在各行业的杰出代表和真正的设计精英，品牌创始人或领衔设计师将为我们带来其最新的产品解析、最前瞻的设计洞察，让我们聆听意大利品牌设计的奥秘，领悟意大利设计的真谛。
IDM20 online course has recruited a first batch of more than 30 well-known Italian design brands to participate. They are outstanding brands in various industries. Brand founders and designers will provide the latest product analysis and the most forward-looking design insights, bringing design students and professionals a pure interpretation of Italian design.
